    IT’S ALL ONLINE! This makes it easy to schedule appointments during the work day and on the go. In this Foundational Therapy Plan I will guide you through exercises and stretches to help improve your oral and facial muscle tone and function. This is the most comprehensive program that will guide you in correcting years of oral-lingual dysfunction.

    As a part of therapy you will be expected to do myofunctional exercises for several minutes each day throughout treatment to achieve excellent results.

    12-15 sessions. 20-45min each.

  • The complete Foundational Therapy plan is going to provide optimal results. But maybe you can’t commit to that at the moment.

    This Tongue Tie Release Program is focused first on getting you ready for your functional frenuloplasty procedure (aka a tongue tie release). We will then provide guidance to help you rehab the wound and tongue post surgery. Often times, swallow therapy is recommended after this therapy is completed.

    8 sessions. 30-45 each.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Therapy is offered virtually via Zoom. This helps in your success so that it is easier to keep appointments, and to fit them into your already busy schedule.

  • Plan to meet every 2-3 weeks for 20-45 minute appointments. The Foundational Therapy plan will last about 6+ months.

  • Treatment is fee for service only. Unfortunately, at this time, I am unable to bill insurance or provide a super bill. You may still be able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) of Flexible Spending Account (FSA to pay for services. There is no guarantee of coverage.

    • Discovery Call: free 15 minute call

    • Comprehensive Evaluation (60-90 min): $150.

      The evaluation fee will be applied towards your therapy plan if you sign up for a complete program.

    • FoundationalTherapy (12-15 sessions): $2800

    • Tongue Tie Release Program (~4 sessions):

    • *Discounts are given for families completing treatment together

    • *Extra therapy kits: $30 (first kit is included with treatment)

  • There are five goals of myofunctional therapy:

    • Nasal breathing day & night

    • Tongue on the roof of mouth day & night

    • Lips closed together day & night

    • Proper chewing & swallowing

    • Eliminate/reduce compensation patterns in other muscles

  • Myofunctional therapy often involves a team approach, working with other health care providers to address your underlying challenges and achieve your goals. Other providers may include dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, ENT physicians, sleep specialists, nutritionists, and various bodyworkers depending upon your specific needs.

  • Myofunctional therapy can be very beneficial for younger children and their families. Currently, Kristin is only working with children aged 7 and older. If your child is younger than 7, send Kristin a message and she can recommend other local myofunctional therapists who can treat your younger children.
